Akin Barber and Shop launched in 2015 with a mission to deliver world class mens hair and beard styling to the city of Dubai. Through the building of our expert team we discovered a gap between the skills and finesse of most barbers, and the level required to be qualified as a hair professional of a global high standard.
To bridge this gap, we developed a comprehensive in-house hair, beard and styling academy, ensuring our team were equipped to deliver world class experience, trend leading styles and classic barber cuts and shaves.
The skill based educational platform is now available to the public. The Akin Barber and Style Academy is dedicated to building the skills, techniques, knowledge and etiquette of participants of the courses.
Each course is structured to meet the needs of barbers at important stages of their career growth, and to provide critical theory, philosophy and technique to allow them to progress and grow as professionals.
